Call the other agent, and see if your bid was submitted. I would suspect it wasn’t done and your buyer agent is doing the chicken dance.

Some real estate agents are real good at giving the impression that they really care about you. Just remember they are only interested in the commission check.

Next time – make the offer only good for 12 hours so the buyer and the agent have to work quicker.
Call you agent and also set deadlines with her. For instance, “What time should I expect to hear from you?” My agent updated me hourly – even if it was just to tell me – “still waiting”

Do you work nights and weekends for your job? I don’t think so.
And neither does the other agent involved in your offer required to do so.
There are multiple parties involved which your agent has NO control over.
It takes time for the other side to receive, review, and perhaps time consider other offers they may have. Not to mention availability.

I think the best would be to wait for Monday seeing as you put in the offer on Saturday.
And I really think expecting someone to work nights and weekends for you is asking too much. Or are you willing to pay more for that?
Remember that the agent has to give your offer to her client, and that client has a certain time to think about your offer. Then he will contact the agent and the agent will contact you. This usually takes a day or two.
In the mean time you might keep yourself busy by making copies of all needed documents and seeing that all the things you have to have in place are ready, so when the time comes you will be ready to get things in motion.

Realtors are just normal people, some are really good and know their job, some are pathetic and shouldn’t be in the profession. Most fall somewhere between.
You are paying her, so you have a right to expect certain levels of performance from her. Make sure she knows what you expect and if she can’t meet those standards, get another agent.
Just don’t be unreasonable. All she can do is pass your offer to the sellers real estate agent. From that point on, there is nothing she can do until the other agent gets back to her.
She will also make sure all the necessary paperwork is completed properly and things that you aren’t aware of are done. Things like making sure their is an expiration date on your offer, so you don’t have an obligation to purchase a house hanging out there for six months waiting for the seller to decide. There are lots of other things she will do for you.

Give it more time, lots of time if it is not being sold by a private party. I hope she told you not to bother with short sales if time is an issue for you.
Yes, it is reasonable to expect her to work 9-5 with the banks, inspectors, title companies, etc, and nights and weekends with you and other buyers. Those are the hours of the profession she signed up for.
