Hello, here is my plan, looking for some info or some unforseen problems.
I just sold my house and used some of the profit as a 20% down payment on my new house. I plan to put the remaining profit into renovations and modernization of my new property and then rent it out. before i rent it out i plan to get a home equity line of credit on the new value of the home and use that line of credit for a down payment and renovations on a second home. once the second home is completed renovations i plan to once again get a home equity line of credit on the new value of the second home and put it towards a down payment and renovation of a third house and so on and so on for a 3rd and 4th ect….untill the property market in my area booms ( i am positive that it is coming ) and at that point sell all the properties i own at the height of the realestate boom. Before you answer please take into account that the rental price for the properties will be sufficent to pay for the mortage and pay off the line of credit i have borrowed against the house.

What Is The Difference Between A “cottage” And A “bungalow”?
I’m looking for the current, popular meanings of the words as they are used in North America, Great Britain, and in the Repuplic of Ireland. In architecture and in realestate there seems to be some distinction. For examples: an architecural photographer has two seperate books; 500 Cottages , and 500 Bungalows; and IOL realestate has “cottages” and “bungalows” under seperate listings. What is a modest one family home… a cottage, a bungalow or something different ….???

Do You Think We Are Given To Much To Keep Us Dumb?
I look around this little chunk of realestate called North America, and I see that “we the people” have been given everything we need to keep us from becoming inovative. It seems that no one has a real need to make things that could make the easy life we live in, even easier. If you want to realise why society wasnt obese in the old old days , then just picture this world without fossil fuels and electricity….imagine the world if it went through a magnetic pulse where every mechanical and solid state, man made invention, that was dependant on electricity to operate, right down to a simple digital wrist watch or solar powered calculator,was no longer of any use……we would be free….., then I think about that statement for a second and grin. working with verizon so i can have more time for myself and i can find a guy because then i wont be as busy as i am usually i am only 22 and really dont care of being with someone or not how do i get my mother off of this subject untill the point my mr right finds me.Any sweet/serious/mature suggestions would be greatly appriciated,because she is always making me meet all these guys like her friend’s son etc,which is getting really annoying for me and i would really hate to be mean to anyone so really would like to put a stop to it untill the point i find a guy who is really capeable of me.:P

Our Realestate Agent Does Not Take Us Around To See Houses. We Went Out On Our Own So Far. Is This Normal?
We were recommended to this agent who seems to have good track record and reputation. However, we have been out on our own for the past two weeks to look at houses. This agent just email us listings and gives us some additional info over the phone. Although we have 4-5 months window for shopping around, we feel we need to start looking right now rather than waiting till last month then make a hasty decision. Is it considered normal practice for agents to not taking clients around to see houses? We thought it otherwise.

Countrywide Short Sale, Final Phase.. What The Heck Is Going On And Taking So Long?
My husband and I are buying a short sale home. Things have actually been moving pretty fast as far as short sales go. We put in a offer on 4.21.09 and it was accepted that day. So, now.. it’s 6.17.09 and everything is approved and ready to go. My realestate agent says that nothing can fall through at this point because everything is approved. So, what’s the hold up? We and the sellers have been approved for at least 3 weeks already and waiting to get a closing date. What is going on and why is this date taking so long to get if everything is approved (both buyer and seller)?
p.s. my realestate lady also told me that the person at countrywide (the sellers lender) who is going to get us a date….. on 6.11.09 (a week ago) had 24 cases ahead of ours and they would get to it when they were done with those. What exactly does that mean?? And whats the time frame?

I Am Freaking Out About This House Right Now?
Ok so heres the story. about a month ago i found this house i absolutely love and when i went to get info on it and possibly put an offer on it i was told it went in to escrow and it was very rare for peoples loans to fall thru at that point and have the house open back up so my realestate agent basically told me that house was hopeless and keep moving. the house also went “inactive” on the website i found it on.
so kept looking for a house and nothing has compared.
but just a few minutes ago i was sent an email saying one of my saved home listings had been updated. i looked to see what home.. and there i was the house that was hopeless to get.
i researched it on another website and there it was….
im trying real hard not get my hopes up.
do you think the home is actually for sell again?
this seems to be a sign that this is supposed to be MY home
also me and my boyfriend make about 3000 dollars a month and dont have much debt do you think we can afford a 88 thousand dollar house? we both have pretty good credit scores also
i sure hope this isnt some sort of glich and my house is really gone.

we but an offer on a house sat morning. it is now sunday when should I hear back from our agent. I feel as though she has too much going on in her personal life to get the job done. we have sold our home so now time is limited in finding a new home.
